Aso Mountain to see the grassland

If you enjoy nature, a trip to Kumamoto, Japan, definitely include a visit to Aso. Kusasenri-ga-hama on Mount Aso is a vast grassland located approximately 1,100 meters above sea level. From here, you can enjoy magnificent grassland scenery and the sight of the white smoke rising from Aso Nakadake.
For transportation, you can take the Aso Tour Bus.
Tip: Due to the location near a volcano, the level of volcanic activity may affect access to the mountain. If the activity is excessive, access restrictions may be implemented.
