🐨✨ 8 days in Australia, hearts jumping with kangaroos
Super cute trip review 🇦🇺💖
“Australia” is one of the countries we have dreamed of for a long time!
Why? Because it has kangaroos, koalas, clear blue skies without filters, and sea views that look like paintings. Plus, there are many cute cafes! 🍃🍰💕
This review will take you to explore Australia for 8 days and 7 nights, covering both the bustling big city of Sydney and the gentle charm of Melbourne, along with super fun activities that will make your heart melt every day. 💗🧳
⸻
🛫 Day 1 - Arrived in Sydney~
After a long, direct flight from Bangkok, when we landed at Sydney Airport, we really felt the “great weather” as they say. The temperature was around 17°C, with a cool breeze. Wearing a light coat, you can walk around and chill. ☁️🎀
We started the trip without rushing. Walking around Darling Harbour is like an oasis in the city, with restaurants, cafes, and beautiful sailboats lined up! Eat Fish & Chips and enjoy the view... It's like being in a Western romance movie 💕🎡
⸻
🌉 Day 2 - Be the heroine at the Opera House
Woke up early today to go to the national landmark! That's right... the Sydney Opera House!!! 🏛️✨
It only takes a few minutes to walk from Circular Quay Station. Plus, the view here is super amazing!! Taking pictures at the corner of the Opera House + Harbour Bridge is the best!!! 📸🌉
Then we walked across the bridge to Milsons Point and rode the Ferris wheel at "Luna Park" 🎠
The vintage rides are colorful and have a European and Aussie feel. It's like being a kid again! The laughter is jingling all the way 💫🎡
⸻
🐨 Day 3 - Let's go see the koalas~
When you come to Australia, how can you not see the national animal? Today we took a ferry to Taronga Zoo 🎫
This is a zoo on a hill with a super premium lake view behind. But more importantly, there are real “koalas” and “kangaroos” right in front of us! 🥹🦘
The koalas hugged the tree, slept soundly with nothing in the world to disturb them. The kangaroos were hopping around, so cute that I wanted to take them home! (But I couldn’t, huhuhu 😂)
⸻
🏖️ Day 4 - Pose cool at Bondi Beach
Today we went to the sea! We went to Bondi Beach, a world-famous beach known for its stunning views, crystal clear water, and happy people~ 🌊👙
Take lots of photos at “Bondi Icebergs,” an expensive-looking seaside swimming pool like an Aussie girl, and then continue walking on the cliffside walkway “Bondi to Coogee Walk.” No matter how strong the wind is, it doesn’t matter. Because the view next door is the best~ 🌥️🍃
In the evening, we came back to have dinner at a cute cafe in Surry Hills. The shop is decorated like Copenhagen. ☕🧁
⸻
🛫 Day 5 - Fly to Melbourne~ The city of coffee and art
After a short flight for about 1 hour, we arrived in Melbourne, a city known as "retro cute" 😚🎞️
On the first day in this city, we started from Flinders Street Station, a classic yellow train station. Then we walked to Hosier Lane, an art alley full of cool, colorful graffiti! 🎨
In the afternoon, we had a slow-life coffee at "Brother Baba Budan", a cool cafe with chairs hanging from the ceiling. Very hip~ ☕💡
⸻
🚗 Day 6 - Drive along the sea at Great Ocean Road
A highlight day that everyone shouldn't miss! We rented a car and drove along the legendary Great Ocean Road 🛣️🌊
The view was beyond words, with cliffs, beaches, forests, and many stops that gave us a very Western road trip feel.
The destination was the “Twelve Apostles”, a rock pillar in the middle of the sea where the sun reflects on the water surface. Oh my… No matter how much I take pictures, it’s not enough. It’s so beautiful that I can’t speak. 🌅📷
⸻
🐧 Day 7 - Meet the little penguins at St Kilda
Woke up late and took the tram to St Kilda. The beach was quiet, but the atmosphere was very cute~ In the evening, we went to wait for the penguins to return home! 🐧💞
That’s right, the little penguins will swim to the shore and return to their nests during the sunset. They walk around so cutely… Oh my, my heart is breaking 😭💙
You can’t take pictures here without flash. Because we have to take care of the animals too 🍃
⸻
🌸 Day 8 - Light morning before flying back
On the last morning, we chose to walk at the Royal Botanic Gardens, a large flower garden in the middle of Melbourne. 🌷🌿
Reading a book, sipping hot tea, watching people walking their dogs, it was a simple but super special moment. 🫖📖
When it was time to board the plane back, I didn't want to go back yet... I wanted to stay and cuddle a koala for another night~ 😩💭
⸻
💌 In summary, the Aussie vibes are so heartwarming.
• Australia is a country that is "complete" with views, nature, people, cafes, and cute animals.
• It's not difficult to organize a trip. The people here are kind and convenient to travel.
• The weather is cool but not too cold, making it comfortable to travel. You won't get tired easily after walking a lot.
• People who love taking pictures, chilling, eating, and animal lovers will all be thrilled! 💕
⸻
If anyone asks, "Should I go to Australia?"
We would like to answer with a full mouth, "Go!!"
Because when you come back, you will get a souvenir of a smile. And the cutest memories 🐨🧳✨
