✨ Day 1 Old City Tour
10:00 Maiden Tower
This 12th-century defensive tower is a landmark of Baku. The ticket costs only 10 manat (about 40 RMB). Be sure to climb up for a panoramic view of the Caspian Sea; the spiral stone stairs make for amazing photos!
12:00 Shirvanshah's Palace
A 10-minute walk takes you to this 15th-century ancient royal palace. Don’t miss the ruins of the harem bathhouse, where the mosaic floor tiles are exceptionally well preserved. Tickets are 15 manat and include an audio guide~
14:30 Highland Park
Have lunch at the "Dolma" restaurant at the park entrance (highly recommend the pomegranate juice grilled meat!), then take the cable car up the mountain. The summit viewing platform offers a stunning contrast of the old city and new city skylines!
18:00 Flame Towers
Head to these three curved skyscrapers at dusk. Dine at the Fireworks restaurant on the 28th floor while watching the sunset (reserve a window seat in advance!). The nighttime light show is absolutely spectacular.
20:30 Seaside Boulevard Walk
Walk along the 6-kilometer Caspian Sea promenade to digest. On Friday nights, there are often street performances. We happened upon a traditional Mugham music concert; the singing and dancing under the full moon created an incredible atmosphere!
✨ Day 2 Artistic Journey
9:30 Heydar Aliyev Center
Zaha Hadid’s masterpiece is stunning! The wave-shaped white building looks beautiful from every angle. Don’t forget to check in at the rooftop terrace. Closed on Mondays, so don’t go in vain~

Have grilled lamb with saffron rice at the "Shirvanshah" restaurant, then visit the nearby 15th-century Juma Mosque. The glazed tiles are unbelievably beautiful!

A 40-minute taxi ride takes you to this 18th-century summer palace. The colorful glass dome is like a kaleidoscope! It’s recommended to join the official guided tour (one per hour) to hear many palace secrets~
