Ubud palace!

#indonesiatrip

Should you visit Ubud Palace?
Before I came, I’d have shrugged. Now, standing barefoot on ancient stone, with the morning light dancing through carved eaves and the air humming with quiet chants — I say: *absolutely, yes*.

This isn’t just a palace. It’s Bali breathing. Every intricate carving, every roof curling skyward like a flame, every shadow cast by wooden lattices — it all speaks. Of rituals. Of gods. Of dances performed here for centuries, still echoing in the courtyards.

I arrived at dawn, when mist still clung to the rice terraces and children’s laughter rang softly between pavilions. Then — the drums. A dance rehearsal began. Costumes shimmered, movements flowed like prayers. I stood there, heart full, thinking: *I’m here. I’m witnessing this. This is real.*

Balinese temple architecture isn’t about symmetry — it’s about harmony. Stone, wood, bronze — all in rhythm. Roofs rise in layered tiers, as if ready to take flight. Guardian spirits watch from every corner. And everywhere — flowers, incense, flickering candles… This isn’t a museum. It’s sacred space where faith and daily life intertwine.

Ubud Palace is small, but overflowing with soul. It doesn’t shout — it whispers. And if you pause, if you listen… it tells you the island’s story.

So yes. Come. Not just for the photos. Come to *feel*. To, for a moment, become part of something ancient

So Im recommend to enjoy
