Garuda Wisnu Kencana (Indonesian: Garuda Wisnu Kencana; Garuda Vishnu Kencana) or abbreviated as GWK is a 121-meter tall statue located in the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Bali Province, Indonesia. Designed by Nyoman Nuarta, it stands 121 meters tall, including a 46-meter base. It was intended to be the tallest statue in Indonesia. The statue depicts Lord Vishnu riding Garuda as he sets out to find the nectar of immortality. The construction was completed and inaugurated by Indonesian President Joko Widodo in 2018.
It is another place in Bali that I recommend friends to visit, but I suggest buying tickets online, such as on trip.com, to get a cheaper price.
