Perfect Stay at Alila Ubud

We spent our final three nights of our Indonesian vacation at Alila Ubud, and it was absolutely perfect. We received an upgrade to a Forest Villa, complete with all the comforts you could want - a dreamy bed and linens, an outdoor bathtub, and a wraparound terrace surrounded by forest. We shared the space with the famous Alila monkeys, some vocal toads, and other local wildlife. The food and drinks (especially the Angry Ubudian) were delicious, and the infinity pool is perfect for cooling off in the hot Bali sun. A 20-minute air-conditioned shuttle takes you to central Ubud, and the location is very close to cultural sites, making Alila a prime spot for exploring Bali. However, the best part of Alila is its staff. We've never encountered a more helpful, friendly, and gracious team. Simply put, the team at Alila Ubud is exceptional.
