Nusa Penida, this hidden gem island near Bali, has captured my heart! Here, I finally understood what "a glance that lasts a lifetime" means. The turquoise sea and blue sky are so beautiful they seem unreal, but they really are breathtakingly exhausting for the legsš
šMust-visit spots:
šAngel's Billabong
A naturally formed infinity pool, the moment when waves crash against the rock walls is super stunning! But be sure to stay safe and never get close to the edge during high tide~
šBroken Beach
A circular cliff sculpted by natureās magic, the view of seawater rushing in through the bottom cave is amazing! Every photo looks like a masterpiece. Itās best to arrive before 10 AM when itās less crowded.
šKelingking Beach
The famous Dinosaur Bay! It takes 20 minutes to climb to the viewpoint, but the moment you see the Tiffany blue water, itās all worth it. Brave ones can go down to the beach, but the path is very steep, so be careful.
š¤æTips for visiting:
ā Be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes! You have to walk a lot on rocky paths at all spots.
ā” Renting a car is the most convenient way to explore; each east and west side requires one day. We paid 700k IDR/day (about 300 CNY).
⢠Remember to bring plenty of water and sunscreen; there are very few shaded areas on the island.
⣠November to March is the rainy season, with bigger waves, so be cautious.
š“Island food:
Warung Bu Mi (near Kelingking Beach)
Recommended: Indonesian fried rice and fresh coconut
Address: Jalan Batu Madeg, Nusa Penida
Amok Sunset (great for watching the sunset)
Super fresh seafood platter
Address: Banjar Nyuh, Nusa Penida
š¤Transportation tips:
Take a speedboat from Sanur Harbor in Bali, about a 40-minute ride.
Itās recommended to buy tickets in advance on Trip.com.
One-way ticket costs about 150 CNY per person.
