Travel to Brunei Royal Regalia

The Royal Regalia Museum, one of Brunei's standard tourist attractions, is a glittering museum that collects symbols of wealth from the Brunei royal family, known as the richest royal family in the world. You may have heard that Brunei is a wealthy country, but there are not many places where you can actually see how rich it is, so it is a must-visit spot when traveling to Brunei.

Inside the museum, there are explanations of the history of the Brunei royal family and King Bolkiah's upbringing, as well as commemorative items given to the king from all over the world. Of particular note is the exhibit that recreates the parade at the time of King Bolkiah's accession to the throne. There are no photos because it is a no-photography area, but the gold-decorated vehicles and costumes dedicated to the king, and the procession of citizens watching over the king, are all made in life-size and are a spectacular sight.
