We are Nicolena, a Japanese-Italian couple who love Asia and cost-effective travel✈︎
Here is a summary of how to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Bangkok city😆
There are 4 ways to get from the airport to the city👇
▶️Train
▶️Taxi (public taxi/Grab)
▶️Private charter
▶️Bus
The cheapest and fastest way is the train, but it may not be the most comfortable as there is no luggage storage and it may be crowded💦
You will also need to transfer to get to major areas such as Sukhumvit, Silom, and Siam
If you arrive early in the morning or late at night, we recommend a taxi or a private charter😍
As for taxis, you can wait for a public taxi at the taxi stand or use the ride-hailing app Grab to get a taxi. There is a way to call a taxi, but be careful because public taxis can take a long time at the stand during peak times👍
Grab is faster than public taxis, but the price tends to be higher↗️
Private charters are the most secure, safe and comfortable, but they are also the most expensive💰
However, if you split the cost at 2,700 yen per car, it's not that expensive, so I think it's totally worth it
The advantage of taking a bus is that you can go to Siam, Silom, and Khaosan without changing buses✨
It's nice that you can also leave your luggage there😉
Taxis, private charters, and buses vary quite a bit in travel time depending on the traffic, so be careful about that
