Wat Phra Ya Suren

Wat Phra Ya Suren is an ancient temple in the Khlong Sam Wa area of Bangkok, known for its shady and peaceful atmosphere. It features a beautiful new ordination hall housing the “Luang Pho Yai,” a large sacred Buddha image revered by locals and devotees alike. Visitors can also pass underneath the ordination hall, as it is believed that passing under the hall or its base helps to “ward off bad luck, enhance fortune, and resolve year of conflict,” bringing blessings to life through rituals passed down since ancient times.
