When in Spain, you definitely got to try their signature Basque burnt cheesecake, which originated from San Sebastian in Spain. That was why when I was in Barcelona, I did not hesitate at all to try this famous basque burnt cheesecake shop called Jon Cake. It only soley sells basque burnt cheesecakes of different kinds and flavours and nothing else.

If you want to avoid queues and waiting for at least 20 minutes or more, then do reserve your cake slices directly with the shop by calling them or dropping a message. Otherwise, be early and wait patiently. Their classic cheesecake is their best seller, with a lighter more subtle cheese taste, while their unique and special cheesecake has a more robust and stronger cheese taste. The middle of the cake is soft and runny and creamy, simply the best kind of cheesecake one would love! Price per slice is by weight so do let the shop know how big a slice you would like. It is 33 Euros/Kg. So so good, it's worth the wait!
