Our Ascent to the Sacred Batu Caves

One of the highlights of our Malaysia Trip is the ascent to Batu Caves. A sacred hindu religious site in Malaysia, it features a giant statue of the deity Murugan and a set of colorful 272 steps to help ascend the cave. There are lots of monkeys onsite so be careful not to bring food stuffs because they will steal it from you! Inside Batu Caves are the reward, the majestic and colorful hindu temples filled with statues and carvings depicting religious stories. Truly magnificent sight!
