PARKROYAL Penang Resort

You can check in at around 2 o'clock. The hotel lobby is very beautiful, in the style of a typical sea view resort in Malaysia. There are also 2 free welcome drinks, including white wine, red wine and juice. This was a birthday family trip, so the hotel upgraded us to a family suite for free. The suite had a large bed and a sofa bed, as well as a garden where you could walk out and see the sea view. It was great, and the room was also new, not as old as described online. When booking, it was noted that it was a birthday celebration, so cake and balloons were given, as well as a late check-out.
The swimming pool is relatively old, with 2 slides, and not as big as expected. The hotel is connected to the beach, which is very clean.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with very few choices and the food was not to our liking. The fried food was overcooked, dark and hard.
