To be able to sleep in and conveniently get to the station after Universal Studios, I chose The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, China World Mall. The location is excellent, very convenient to go anywhere, and SKP is right downstairs, perfect for shopping.

The overall hygiene of the hotel is good, especially the gym, which is very clean with attention to detail, providing a comfortable and reassuring stay. Some areas may create visual illusions due to design style, but the actual cleanliness meets high-end hotel standards.

🏘️Room Type/Layout:
The hotel’s location is superb, close to Dawanglu subway station, adjacent to SKP and China World Mall, and next door to JW Marriott (same owner).
The executive floor Carlton Suite I stayed in is at the end of the corridor, with double doors, full of ceremony, like “Princess, please come home”; the suite is spacious and meets diverse needs.
The hotel overall has a British old money style, with the banquet hall and garden on the first floor being very photogenic, great for taking pictures and checking in.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
Room configuration reflects quality, toiletries are by Diptyque, the hairdryer is Dyson, tea bags are TWG, and there is a garment care machine—details fitting the Ritz standard.
The gym and pool facilities are standard and commendable: clean towels and mineral water are provided next to the treadmill, a thoughtful small detail; the gym is clean and tidy, worth experiencing.
The desk lamps in the room are mostly older models, so pay attention to the switch design; some areas have large carpets with a vintage style.

- Service: The front desk service is warm and attentive, and the turndown service is heartwarming; overall service level is on point, reflecting Ritz quality.
- Dining: Breakfast is purely buffet style (no à la carte), but details are well done, reflecting luxury brand standards, for example, the wontons contain shrimp, which is rare among similar hotels.
- Bar: Located on the outer circle of the hotel’s first floor, the atmosphere differs from other five-star hotels, with stronger drinks, suitable for guests who like stronger alcohol.
- Others: I was lucky to get a free little lion 🦁, very cute; for girls wanting to take photos, it’s recommended to plan outfits in advance, as many hotel scenes are very photogenic.
