Autumn in Beijing is hidden in the ginkgo trees of Ditan Park

If autumn had a shape, it would definitely be the ginkgo avenue in Ditan Park.

Stepping into Ditan feels like falling into a golden fairy tale. Over 200 ginkgo trees, planted in the late 1950s, carry a romantic history, with time dressing them in golden feathers. Sunlight filters through the leaves, scattering fragments of gold on the ground, bathing every fallen leaf in warm light. Walking among them, the "ginkgo carpet" beneath your feet makes a crisp sound, like a unique symphony of autumn.

The red walls and golden tiles complement the ginkgo trees. The ancient Ditan, surrounded by ginkgo, loses some of its solemnity and gains a touch of gentleness and poetry. The red walls blaze like fire, the ginkgo shines like gold, reflecting each other to create a stunning autumn scene.

Under the ginkgo trees, people express their love for autumn. Some wear Hanfu, dancing lightly in the wind, their every move full of ancient charm; some set up cameras, trying to capture this beautiful moment forever; others simply sit quietly on benches, closing their eyes to feel the gentle autumn breeze and the falling leaves. Here, time seems to slow down, and every moment is filled with the breath of life.

The ginkgo trees of Ditan are Beijing’s exclusive autumn romance, a gentle poem distilled by time, and an everlasting autumn memory in my heart.
