Beijing Strolls🌇

Spent a few days chillin’ at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing (No.5-15 Jinyu Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing – super fancy vibes!) and omg, my casual strolls around the hotel area totally blew me away. ✨

First off, the location is CLUTCH. You’re legit steps away from Wangfujing Street – aka snack central and shopping heaven. Wander down Jinyu Hutong, and you’ll catch a mix of old-school hutong life and chic rooftops. The contrast is unreal, totally worthy of your IG feed. 🍜🚶

The Waldorf itself serves major glam but doesn’t feel stuffy. I loved walking out and feeling the energy shift from luxe hotel mood to bustling Beijing street scenes in seconds. Street food smells, little shops, and that unmistakable Beijing buzz? SO good!

Pro tip: Most shops on Wangfujing open around 10am and go late – perfect for late-night snack missions or spontaneous souvenir hunts. Need to zen out? Take a quick walk to St. Joseph’s Church (74 Wangfujing St.), a gorgeous slice of history just 5 mins from the hotel!

Beijing is giant, but sometimes the best moments come from just wandering. My tip: don’t overplan, let your feet lead you. The blend of traditions and 24/7 city hype here is absolutely next level. 🌇✨
