The ash trees on Wusi Street have turned yellow again and are once more gaining attention. Today is gloomy, with relatively few people around, so I decided to take a walk this afternoon. The golden ash trees and the somber red bricks create a striking yet harmonious contrast of bright yellow and deep red, like a series of oil paintings. The Peking University Red Building stands quietly across this golden glow, appearing even more steady and solid, silently gazing at the annual golden autumn before it. There are fences along the roadside, more securely set up than last year. Friends going to take photos, please pay attention to safety.
