Step into Beijing Art Center

On October 26, 2025, at 1:30 PM, visit the Beijing Art Center located in Tongzhou District, Beijing. It is one of the new cultural landmarks in Beijing’s sub-center, operated by the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The overall design elements are inspired by the ancient granaries on the banks of the canal transport docks, featuring a traditional Chinese single-ridge double-slope roof design. Its unique exterior shape resembles clusters of sails on the canal from a distance. The center consists of three independent buildings, including an opera house, a concert hall, a drama theater, four indoor theaters, and one outdoor open-air theater. Here, we enjoyed a chamber music concert performed by professional musicians. Eight famous pieces from China and abroad were alternately played by four performers on flute (Xu Yifan), accordion (Cui Xiyan), and guitar (Wang Lizhiyi, Luo Yitao), receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.
