Avoid the crowds at Xiangshan and drive just 1.5 hours to Pofengling. The 50 yuan ticket is totally worth it—the whole mountain is dyed in a gradient of red and yellow, and every snapshot is a close-up of autumn. It’s best to arrive before 8 AM to see the red leaves shrouded in morning mist; on rainy days, there’s an even more dreamy beauty~
