Experience the Unique Blend of Crocodiles and Hot Springs at Oniyama Jigoku!

Oniyama Jigoku, located in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, is one of the famous Beppu Hell Tour attractions. Here, hot springs with temperatures reaching around 99 degrees Celsius are used to raise crocodiles. This unique practice, which started in 1923, was the first of its kind in Japan.
At Oniyama Jigoku, you can observe many crocodiles up close, including the impressive saltwater crocodile, which can grow up to 4 meters in length and weigh 500 kilograms. There is also a demon monument, making it a perfect spot for commemorative photos.
