Chigako Lake and Kyofu-dai

A family road trip to explore new places, this time we visited Chigako Lake and Kyofu-dai.
1. On the mountain road from Beppu to Yufuin, you will pass by Chigako Lake and Kyofu-dai. There are other attractions along the way, but we only stopped at these two this time.
2. Upon arriving at the parking lot of Chigako Lake, there is a small shop selling various camping-related items, giving the impression that this is a popular camping spot.
3. The scenery around the lake is stunning. The lake itself is quite large, with a few swans adding to its charm.
4. Kyofu-dai is a small area where you can take photos with Mount Yufu in the background. The weather was perfect on the day we visited, offering breathtaking views. However, a social media influencer occupied the best spot for a long time, so we decided not to wait and drove to the next destination.
