My first stop was the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Even in its silence, the memorial is deeply moving — a powerful reminder of the importance of confronting history. I then explored historic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, witnessing Berlin’s rich political heritage.

Spending time at alternative cultural spots like Holzmarkt 25 allowed me to experience the city’s creative and free-spirited atmosphere. While my days were filled with art and history, my evenings were spent relaxing by the river or in cozy local cafés, embracing Berlin’s laid-back lifestyle.
