If you go to Sapporo, you must visit Biei ✈️❄️

Sapporo is so famous as a winter travel destination!

Biei, which is a 2.5-hour drive from downtown Sapporo,
is a place with beautiful natural scenery and a lot to see.

You can rent a car and go, but it is not recommended for beginner drivers because there is always snow in the winter.

It is usually a place where many people apply for a tour.

Each tour company has various courses and options.

Usually, these three places are

must-visit, and + Cheongi Lake, + Ningle Terrace are optional.

I went on a tour once in 2019 and once in 2025,

but I didn't see Cheongi Lake both times.

* Cheongui Lake freezes and snow piles up between December and February,

so it's just like a snow-covered land, so you have to go in spring and summer to see the uniquely refreshing lake.

At first, I chose the option to go to Ningur Terrace,

but this time, I chose the option to ride a sled instead of going to Ningur Terrace, and I liked Ningur Terrace better!

You can ride a sled in Korea too, so I definitely recommend going to Ningur Terrace! Please note that you can only use it for about 20 minutes, whether you ride a sled or go to Ningur Terrace!
