Sapporo to Biei Day Tour: A Stroll Through the Snowy Landscape

Early in the morning, we departed from Sapporo and headed towards Biei. The snowy scenery along the roadside grew deeper and more enchanting, calming the mind with just the view outside the window.

Our first destination was the birch forest. As we stepped into the tranquil woods, even the sound of the wind seemed to disappear, leaving only the crunching sound of footsteps on the snow.

Next was the Christmas tree. Standing alone in the middle of the snowfield, the tree was smaller than expected, but the overall scenery exuded a sense of serenity and warmth.

Lunch was Biei's specialty, Junpei's shrimp tempura rice bowl. The crispy shrimp tempura, warm rice, and savory soy sauce created a perfect combination.

In the afternoon, we passed through Patchwork Road, enjoying views of Biei's iconic landmarks like the 'Seven Stars Tree' and the 'Couple Trees' from the car window. Even without stopping, the beauty of nature was deeply moving.

The final stop was Ninguru Terrace. Small, cozy cabins sparkled under the lights, and walking along the snowy forest path at that moment was the most beautiful ending to the day.
