I visited the Shirahige Waterfall!

The waterfall truly lived up to its name, with streams of water as white as snow gently cascading down the cliffs. From a distance, the foam rose like mist, blending with the blue hue of the water below to create an oddly mystical color.

The view from the nearby bridge was particularly stunning. Although the sound of the water was loud, it strangely brought a sense of calm. Standing in the cold air of Biei, even the moment when my breath turned white and disappeared felt like a part of the scenery.

The colors were impossible to fully capture in photos. The blue hues changed with the light, and when a small rainbow appeared in the spray, that fleeting moment became the highlight of the trip.
