Sapporo Takushinkan is a place where the works of Maeda Shinzo, a photographer famous for his Biei landscape photos, are exhibited.

The indoor exhibition was great, but the front yard of Takushinkan and the birch tree forest path in early autumn rain were truly stunning.

The scent of the rain-soaked forest, the charmingly decorated Takushinkan, and the vast birch trees that follow right after...

It was even more atmospheric and picturesque after the rain.
