A Beacon of Civic Identity Since 1900

#hellohalloween

Located in Talbot Square, Blackpool Town Hall was designed by Potts, Son and Hennings and completed in 1900 to replace an older 18th-century structure. The building’s Jacobean style is immediately striking: a symmetrical seven-bay frontage, five-stage clock tower, and porticos with Tuscan and Ionic columns create a commanding presence. The upper walls are made of pink brick with stone dressings, while the ground floor features arched entrances and Venetian bay windows, all crowned by a balustraded parapet.
