Our experience at Coco Bodu Hithi was fantastic from the very beginning to end! All the restaurants on the island were top-notch, offering a wonderful variety and quality of dishes—we especially enjoyed Tsuki, the Japanese restaurant. When it comes to activities, the house reef, located just about a 20-meter swim from our water villa, was a highlight, boasting turtles, sharks, and numerous fish species. Apart from that, the DJ, gym, tennis court, and watersports were all outstanding (and free!), as were the bars and the spa. Our 10-day stay was never dull. We'd also like to express our gratitude to Nittu for taking good care of us throughout the trip, arranging all our activities, dining plans, and even setting up our favorite movie for Sunday cinema night! Additionally, we had the same staff attending to us at the buffet each day who quickly memorized our usual orders and were always friendly, and Meg, the onsite Marine Biologist, guided us on a wonderful snorkeling adventure and happily chatted about the wildlife we encountered, helping us identify the turtles we spotted! There were a couple of minor grievances during our stay; the restaurants often played the same few elevator tracks repeatedly, which grew tiresome after 10 days, and the staff were overly quick to clear our plates—on one occasion, my plate was taken away while I still had food in my mouth! Also, the lighting in our villa was inadequate, making it feel too dim in the evenings. Overall, we would highly endorse CBH, and we'd like to thank the staff for a remarkable experience. We'd return in a heartbeat.
