Quiet and underrated… Bowen Island

Bowen island is only 20 minutes ferry ride from Horseshoe bay ferry. If you are downtown, you can take a bus to horseshoe bay. Once you are in the island you can spend just a day walking around the area close to the ferry without a car. Upon arriving we had brunch at Tippy’s, dinner at Tuscany and ice cream at Branch. Make sure you make a reservation at Tuscany in the morning. Tuscany is only open from a 5 to 8. In addition tippy’s is only open until 3 PM. We walked around Killarney Lake and the trails surrounding it. Last but not least we went around Dorman point. We ended a day with a scoop of ice cream from Branch which is conveniently located by the ferry. The ferry back to Vancouver is free. #adventuremoments #bowenisland #killarneylake #dormanpoint
