Brussels: Welcome to the Land of Chocolate, Waffle, Fries and Beer

Capital of Belgium, it might not be people top choice of travelling but it was a pleasant surprise. It is a city with heritage, architecture, gastronomy and their warm personality. It is a compact city where you can clock most of the major attractions by foot which i highly recommend. Start by the grand place and slowly explore yourself, you will find the iconic Manneken Pis (he is wearing a chef uniform) and be suprised by the clothes he is wearing. There is a musuem for a his costumes he wore and is so interesting to see his extensive waredrobe. Of cos, we have to locate the Jeannike - Pis which is another statue dedicating the the little mischevious girl of brussels. And lastly, we manage to hunt down Zinneke Pis (dog peeing) since we are on it. It was slightly off the main area but it was not far. Along the streets there are beautiful murals for you to take pictures as well. If you love chocolate, then you are in the right place, many brands like leonaides, neuhaus, elizabeth (my personal fav) , mary, pierre marcolini and etc.
