If you want to avoid the crowded cherry blossom spots in Seoul, set your destination to Busan instead! It’s way less crowded and you get that perfect combo of cherry blossoms and ocean views.
Oni has put together a list of 2 cherry blossom spots that locals love — if you’re planning your trip, make sure to save this!
① Nakdong River Cherry Blossom Road
A 12-kilometer-long cherry blossom corridor — fewer crowds, stunning views!
A pink sea of flowers stretches along the riverbank — perfect for Japanese-style photoshoots in JK uniforms. Come before 9 a.m. for empty shots! It gets windy by the river, so bring a jacket!
How to get there:
Take Subway Line 2 to Sasang Station, Exit 3. Walk straight and cross the overpass.
② Gamcheon Culture Village
A visual double hit: colorful mural village plus cherry blossoms!
There’s a giant cherry tree next to the Little Prince statue — the view overlooking the flower-covered village is breathtaking!
Wear a light-colored dress for super aesthetic photos. You can even rent a hanbok at the entrance!
How to get there:
Take Subway Line 1 to Toseong Station, Exit 6. Transfer to village bus 1-1 and get off at Gamcheon-dong Entrance.
