One memorable stopover during my Ganzi tour

Escape the city and head for the heavens! Kazila Mountain, perched at 4718m along the Sichuan–Tibet line, is a stunning stop between Litang and Yajiang. Surrounded by layers of rolling hills, vast alpine grasslands, and endless blue skies, it feels like walking through a natural watercolour painting. 🎨
💨 The air is crisp and the views are unmatched. From the viewpoint platform, you’ll feel as if you could touch the sky! Take your time strolling through the meadows, where gentle black yaks graze and Tibetan prayers flutter in the wind, adding a layer of sacred calm. 🌿🖤
⚠️ Tips:
• Park and head straight to the viewing platform – it offers the best panoramic views and photo opportunities 📸
• The entire area sits above 4000m, so walk slowly, avoid running, and watch for signs of altitude sickness
• Bring a jacket – it can get chilly even when sunny!
• Bring a tumbler if you want to refill hot water. Hot water refill at the souvenir shops is free but they charge a fee of 1 rmb for use of toilet.
