Changchun Surrounding Tours｜Complete Guide to Shenlu Peak

Took my family last week, super fun and great for photos! Finally organized a detailed route despite procrastination, follow it and you won’t go wrong～

🚗 Transportation Guide 🚗
Self-driving is the way to go! Super close to Changchun, about 1.5 hours by car. After getting off the highway, the road is smooth all the way. Park at Parking Lot No. 5 outside the scenic area (free!) and it’s very convenient to walk into the park～

Tour Route (Easy Version) ✅
1️⃣ Go up the mountain first
🚶‍♀️ Walk to Qianren Square Station, take the sightseeing bus directly to the mountaintop Xingye Square Station! It’s easier to play from top to bottom～
🌳 Karst Cave (Photo 2): The cave floor is slippery, and the stairs in the latter half are a bit steep. It’s recommended to bring a light jacket (cold in the first half, sweat warning in the second half!) The whole trip takes about 20 minutes, full of exploration vibes～
🔔 Qingyun Terrace & Changchun’s First Peak (Photo 3): After the cave, climb some stairs (there are resting benches). At the top, you can ring the “Peace and Prosperity” bell. The view from the summit is amazing, and the breeze is super healing～
🌈 Glass Corridor & Horizon Swing (Photos 4-5): Right after Qingyun Terrace! The corridor is thrilling enough to make your legs weak, but the scenery is breathtaking; the Horizon Swing is popular, so queue early and be ready to rush!
2️⃣ Downhill activities
🦖 Return to Xingye Square Station, take the sightseeing bus to the Expansion Line Station, then walk to the Petting Zoo (rabbits, raccoons, alpacas… a bit dirty but super cute!)
🎮 Nearby are retro games like Angry Birds and shooting galleries. Along the way, swings and ground-painted words (Photos 6-7) are perfect for photos, making you feel like you’re in a fairy tale～
🌊 From Expansion Line Station, take the bus to Qingyin Valley Station to shoot small waterfalls (very atmospheric), then walk to Luming Valley (Photos 8-9)! Lots of free-range deer, close-up feeding and interaction, totally worth the ticket!
3️⃣ Finish at the foot of the mountain
🎠 Take the bus back to Qianren Square Station, walk to the amusement area to play the giant pendulum, pirate ship, goose ring toss… Finally, go to the Dream Castle to experience the slide (expect 30-40 minutes queue during holidays), a perfect ending～

💡 Tips
🗺️ You can get a map at the park entrance, a must-have for the easily lost!
🌳 The whole trip takes about 5-6 hours, full of greenery and very healing, perfect for oxygen and relaxation～
📸 Great for photos! Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a power bank, keep your battery full!
🍔 You can bring your own water and food to recharge without any trouble～
