We specifically went to Longemont with a few friends after the National Day holiday to avoid the crowds and enjoy the scenery without long lines and overcrowding.
Travel 🚗: Just navigate directly to Huzhou Longemont Yashi Hotel. Staying at the hotel offers free parking, or you can take the high-speed train to Huzhou Station and then take a ride-hailing car to the hotel, which takes about half an hour.
Hotel 🏠: We chose the cost-effective Yashi Hotel. Staying at the hotel allows you to get free parking vouchers. We booked online and checked in directly at the front desk without waiting in line. Our booked room included tickets for the zoo (2 tickets) and the grand circus (2 tickets).
First stop: Grand Circus. On Saturdays, there are two shows at 14:00 and 19:30. We went to the 14:00 show. Remember to bring your ID card, as the hotel has linked the tickets to the ID. After watching, I personally felt that the Longemont Grand Circus was very impressive with a good storyline.
Second stop: Ancient Town. We went there to play and have a meal. The set meal does not include the entrance ticket, which you need to buy separately. The ticket allows unlimited entry for three days, which is very cost-effective. Various NPC interactions are very fun, and the ancient town has a lot of delicious food. The iron flower and fireworks performances are also very rich. The ticket to the ancient town was definitely worth it.
Third stop: Zoo. After checking out in the morning the next day, we went straight to the zoo. It’s quite nice and the park is very large with many feeding and interactive activities.
In summary, this trip was definitely worth it, especially the ancient town at Longemont.
