- Opening hours: June 1–August 31: 6:30–20:00; September 1–May 31: 7:00–19:00. Desert Plant Pavilion: 9:00–17:00, Youth Science Museum: 9:00–17:00 (closed on Mondays).

- Ticket information: Single ticket: CNY 10/person, half-price ticket: CNY 5/person (6–18 years old, university student ID), annual ticket: CNY 120/person/year; children under 6 years old or under 1.3 m tall can enter for free when accompanied by an adult, seniors over 60 years old can enter for free with ID.

- Transportation: Take Metro Line 3 to Botanical Garden Station, Exit B; or take bus 101, 146, etc.; drive via Zhaojue Temple South Street or Panda Avenue, there are two parking lots at the West Gate and South Gate.

- Spring Flower Viewing Route: Enter from the West Gate - Azalea Garden (view azaleas) - Cherry Blossom Avenue (view cherry blossoms) - Begonia Garden (view begonias) - Baihui Garden (various flowers) - Lawn (rest, picnic).

- Summer Cooling Route: Enter from the West Gate - Rare Plant Garden (streams, suspension bridges) - Back Mountain Ecological Forest (shady trees) - Desert Plant Pavilion (indoor, air-conditioned) - Youth Science Museum (learn about plants).

- Autumn Leaf Viewing Route: Enter from the West Gate - Hibiscus Garden (view hibiscus) - Osmanthus Garden (smell osmanthus) - Camphor Forest (view fallen leaves) - Lawn (enjoy autumn scenery).

- Winter Snow Route (if it snows): Enter from the West Gate - Plum Garden (view plum blossoms) - Wintersweet Garden (view wintersweet) - Qianzhang Forest (snow scenery) - Lawn (play in the snow).

- Outdoors: Azalea Garden, Cherry Blossom Avenue, Begonia Garden, Baihui Garden, Lawn, Back Mountain Ecological Forest, railway outside the West Gate.

- Indoors: Desert Plant Pavilion, Youth Science Museum.

- Check the weather forecast in advance and choose a suitable time to visit.

- The park is large, so it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
