Originally built in 1958 as the state-owned Hongguang Electron Tube Factory—once the cradle of China's electronics industry—this site fell silent as times changed. Today, guided by the principle of "repurposing while preserving original features," it has been transformed. Industrial relics like towering chimneys, water towers, and pipeline supports have been retained, and the complex has been reinvented as a vibrant international cultural and creative hub integrating music, art, and fashion—now a distinctive new cultural landmark of Chengdu.
