Goiryung Exploration Guide - A Mysterious Journey Amidst Red Rock Formations

Transportation: From Chimju Station, take a taxi (40 minutes, approximately 80 won) or the direct city bus No. 831. For private vehicles, follow the route Chimju City → Suntian Expressway → Goiryung entrance. Parking is free.

Must-visit attractions include the natural bridge 'Yongmun Bridge' formed by red rocks, the panoramic view of the red rock canyon from the 500m-high observatory, and the 'Cliff Scenery' area nestled deep within the valley. Especially during sunset, the rocks glow in a mesmerizing orange hue.

Important notes: Due to steep sections, trekking shoes are essential. During sunny days, hats and sunscreen are a must. Prepare clothing suitable for seasonal climate changes.

For local cuisine, try Chimju's specialties such as Dongchae-tang (steamed freshwater eel), ginseng chicken porridge, and stir-fried mountain vegetables.
