We highly recommend booking hotels via Trip.com and we stay at the Wonderwall (with free car park) in the old town to explore the city before embarking on our memorable road trip to visit Mae Kampong, Vanilla Hill villa resort, Pong Yaeng and etc.

Strawberries produced in Chiang Mai are very delicious with natural bouquets. Food are fantastic especially the Michelin shortlisted Dan Chicken Rice, Aunt Aoy Dee and the Teochew fishballs noodle. Drives at the mountain region are not disappointing and the Northern Thai are very calm and nice people. We were a bit short of time to reach Pai and Ban Rak Tai and complete the Mae Hong Son loop, will definitely come back.
