[Chiang Rai] A must-visit! The stunning white temple of Wat Rong Khun

Located on the outskirts of Chiang Rai, Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) is a modern Buddhist temple begun by Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997.
Mirror fragments embedded in the pure white exterior symbolize the purity and radiance of Buddha's wisdom, while decorative features such as the "Bridge of Reincarnation" and "Heaven's Gate" invite visitors on the path to enlightenment.

Extension is still ongoing, with completion expected after the 2050s, making it a place where visitors can experience the eternal pursuit of art and spirit.
