📍.. Located inside Wat Phra That Pha Ngao, Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province

🛕.. The name of Wat Phra That Pha Ngao comes from the chedi located on top of a large rock that looks like a pagoda. The word "Pha Ngao" means the shadow of the rock, so it was named "Phra That Pha Ngao". And the excavation discovered "Phra Phuttha Luang Pho Pha Ngao" on March 17, 1976, estimated to be as old as 1,300 years.

🎨.. Maharaj Phutthirangsan Royal Portrait Hall is located opposite the Luang Pho Pha Ngao Temple. It is a beautiful pavilion with Lanna architecture.
.. Inside, there is a picture of King Mengrai the Great, the founder of Chiang Rai, and pictures of the royal family who visited Wat Phra That Pha Ngao, as well as various souvenirs.
