Chiba's Inage Sengen Shrine: A Historic Shrine Linked to Mount Fuji

Founded in the 3rd year of the Daido era (808) during the reign of Emperor Heijo, this shrine was established as a branch of the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha. The main deity enshrined here is Konohanasakuya-hime. The shrine building is uniquely constructed to face Mount Fuji🗻 directly, with pathways designed to resemble the routes leading to the mountain, showcasing a meticulous design.

The shrine is also known for its Kagura performances, which are based on Japanese mythology and can be seen during specific festivals.
