The domestic terminal at New Chitose Airport is full of delicious food

When visiting Hokkaido, be sure to leave plenty of time for the domestic terminal at New Chitose Airport! It's accessible directly from the international terminal via the connecting corridor, making it a world of a walkway compared to the international terminal! The souvenir shop features a wide selection of Hokkaido brands, including Rokkatei, Sapporo Agricultural University, and Le Tao. The popular Snow brand also has a stand here. Besides its own counter, the adjacent duty-free shop also sells Snow's popular ambient items. We arrived around 2:00 PM on the day of our arrival and, surprisingly, skipped any lines and painlessly bought a Snow gift box and snacks! They also have a wide selection of other products!

There are also many shops selling Hokkaido milk and dairy products! Don't miss the Hokkaido Milk Stand, which delivers fresh milk directly from the farm daily. Located next to the bookstore in the domestic terminal, it's incredibly charming, with refrigerated cases neatly displaying dairy products from farms across Hokkaido. Each one is so tempting to try! Besides canned milk, the brewed-to-order coffee is also worth a try! There are also many other interesting and adorable shops that are worth exploring!

The restaurant options are also quite diverse. Ramen Dojo houses several popular Hokkaido ramen restaurants. While the lines may appear long at first glance, the wait is actually quite short. The food court also has a diverse selection of dishes, and I highly recommend the onigiri shop! Sapporo's renowned Morihiko Coffee also has a location here. On our arrival day in Hokkaido, we reserved time in the domestic terminal to leisurely browse and grab a bite to eat. The well-organized domestic terminal truly captivated us from the moment we landed! It's a great starting point for a trip!
