Amazing! This is absolutely the most heartfelt travel guide to Nepal 👏, where you can experience snow-capped mountains, ancient cities, and jungles all in one trip ✨
🌄 Itinerary
Day1:
📍 Kathmandu Durbar Square
Ticket about 1000 NPR, recommended to visit early morning or evening to avoid crowds. Many unique restaurants surround the square, try the local Newa Cuisine.
Day2:
📍 Pokhara
Take an early flight (about 25 minutes), head straight to Phewa Lake for boating after landing. Many great-value restaurants line the lakeshore. In the afternoon, hike up to World Peace Tower (about 1 hour) for sunset views.
Day3:
📍 Chitwan National Park
Book a jeep safari in advance (about $50/person) to spot rhinos and Bengal tigers! Stay overnight at jungle resorts within the park - don't forget mosquito repellent.
🍛 Must-try Foods
✔ Momo: Nepalese dumplings, most authentic at street stalls
✔ Dal Bhat: National set meal with unlimited refills
✔ Masala Tea: Spiced milk tea, perfect for cold weather
💡 Practical Tips
1. Exchange small NPR notes - many places don't accept large bills
2. November-March is dry season, best for trekking
3. Buy hiking gear in Thamel area - remember to bargain hard
4. Get local SIM cards at airport - Ncell recommended
🏡 Accommodation Recommendations
Choose Thamel area in Kathmandu and lakeside area in Pokhara - both convenient and lively locations. For higher budgets, try unique mountain-view rooms!
