1️⃣ The nearest subway station is 'Xiaoshizi Station', and it's also close to Jiefangbei, which is worth a visit
2️⃣ Make sure to navigate to 'Pang Ge Noodle House' first, or you can go in reverse, but it's easy to get lost
3️⃣ Following the recommended route is the most efficient way; I didn't check the guide and ended up climbing a lot of stairs unnecessarily
4️⃣ When the cable car rope sags, it means the cable car is about to start, so get your camera ready
5️⃣ It's best to have a telephoto lens; it's useful not just at White Elephant Residence, but anywhere in Chongqing
6️⃣ It takes about an hour to check in at all the spots, and you won't have to retrace your steps
