Walking through the old streets of Chongqing, you can't help but be captivated.

Ciqikou Ancient Town

Ciqikou Ancient Town is a traditional village in Chongqing, known for its alleys filled with history and culture. The old streets, dating back to the Ming Dynasty, are lined with traditional buildings, interspersed with modern shops and snack stalls, creating a unique atmosphere. Although it is quite commercialized and crowded with tourists, walking through the narrow, winding alleys naturally brings you face to face with scenes from the past. Even without entering each shop, the streets themselves exude a charm, with small decorations on the walls and old tiled roofs leaving a lasting impression. The variety of street food is also a highlight, making it enjoyable to stroll around and try different snacks. Despite the hustle and bustle, you get a glimpse of daily life in Chongqing, and at times, it feels like a real neighborhood. This blend of tourist attraction and authentic local life left a deep impression on me.
