Magnetic Porcelain Ancient Town: A Historical Tourist Street

Magnetic Porcelain Ancient Town was originally an important water and land dock during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, serving as a distribution hub for goods along the lower reaches of the Jialing River. The town is built along the mountains, requiring visitors to ascend winding steps. However, many imitation ancient buildings have been added during expansions, and escalators have been installed for easier access. Only the old town area retains some of the original charm of the ancient streets. Unfortunately, the commercialized streets are now filled with specialty shops, leaving little of the authentic old-town atmosphere. On weekdays, the area is not very crowded, and some shops may not even be open. Visitors can walk to the edge of the Jialing River and imagine the bustling scenes of the dock in its heyday.
