✨ Family Trip in Chongqing! ✨
Stayed at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing – a luxury serviced apartment, absolutely perfect for family stays 🏡 Spacious apartments, full facilities, and super convenient location near Hongya Cave & Jiefangbei! Staff were wonderful and spoke English, and we noticed many foreigners and Singaporeans staying here too.
🍲 Food Highlights:
Authentic Chongqing hotpot 🔥 and must try 小龙虾 from the famous 老甘家 (Daijia Lane branch, 戴家巷) 🦞 – spicy & addictive!
👉 From Ascott, it’s just a 10-min taxi ride or 15-min walk via Jiefangbei.
Must try 烤鱼 from 烤匠 (KaoMaster) in Raffles City Chongqing Mall 🐟 – tender grilled fish with rich spices, right downstairs from Ascott!
🌌 Evening Highlight:
The famous Drone Show by the river, which can be seen from Raffles City, on weekends at 8 PM – magical lights in the sky, perfect for families.
🗿 Day Trip Highlight:
Dazu Rock Carvings (大足石刻) – UNESCO World Heritage site, with incredible Buddhist cave art. About 1.5–2 hrs from Chongqing by car, or high-speed rail from Chongqing West Station + local transfer. Absolutely worth it!
