Chongqing Trip: FunGee Riverside View Hotel Review

I chose FunGee Joyful River View Hotel for this trip to Chongqing for a simple reason: the location is super convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Liberation Monument Pedestrian Street. The hotel service is courteous, and if you are breakfast-conscious, want to do laundry and do not want trouble, this is certainly for you!

The hotel is located on the 21st floor of Building C of Goldman Sachs Creative Wealth Center on Binjiang Road. A few steps from the hotel to Hong Ya Cave, the 22nd floor leads directly to Kuixing Building. In addition to the Liberation Monument business district, there are many must-see attractions in Chongqing nearby - food streets, cultural and creative shops, pedestrian streets and everything. In terms of transportation, it is very convenient to go to the MTR station and bus station.

Breakfast really has to be praised! Chongqing noodles are served every morning, freshly cooked and delivered, with rich dishes to choose from, and breakfast is served until 1pm, sleep until you wake up naturally without fear of hunger. The hotel also offers free laundry and drying services, so you don't have to worry about changing clothes for a long stay or a multi-day trip. There are plenty of smart amenities in the room: voice control, free drinks, a small fridge, and popcorn, ice cream and good night porridge for a comfortable and ceremonial stay.

In terms of hygiene and service, the hotel staff has been very enthusiastic and attentive, any need they are quickly resolved. The environment is clean and quiet, especially suitable for families, couples or those who prefer a leisurely life. However, a small number of guests reflect average sound insulation, those who request can check with the hotel in advance.

The most recommended way is to take the bullet train (high-speed rail) from Chongqing North Railway Station to Wushan County. The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive at Wushan, you can take a local taxi or tourist shuttle to reach the scenic spot of Red Leaf Valley (Hongye Gu). Booking Tip: FunGee Joyful River View Hotel is usually more popular during peak season, and it is recommended to book more than three weeks in advance, especially during the autumn leaf season. When choosing a hotel around the Liberation Monument business district, it is best to choose a room type close to the subway and with a view outside the window. Ask about the room specifications and soundproofing status before booking. There is a big temperature difference between morning and evening in Chongqing. When hiking or seeing red leaves, you should keep warm. Remember to bring a thin jacket.
