Although both names are pronounced "Huanglong," the famous karst cave is the Huanglong Cave (黄龙洞) in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, while the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area (黄龙风景名胜区) in Sichuan province is known for its spectacular travertine pools and terraced landscape. The two sites are over 1,000 kilometers apart and are located in different provinces.
