Nami Island – South Korea

Nami Island is a small island that can be visited all year round.
This is my second time visiting Nami Island, located near Chuncheon City in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
It takes about two hours by car from Seoul 🚗.
Counting back, the last time I came here was over ten years ago 🤣, and I went with my best friend 💕.
This time, I'm here with 🍫💕. I remember saying last time that I would try the Skyline Zipwire to enter the island 🤣.
Hmm, but after all these years, I'm still a scaredy-cat 😌, so I obediently took the ferry instead 🤣.
I wonder if any of my friends have actually tried flying into the island 🤣🤣🤣.
I’m curious if young people nowadays still know about "Winter Sonata" 🤣🤣.
"Winter Sonata" is a super popular Korean drama from 2002 ❄️❄️.
Nami Island was one of the main filming locations for the drama.
The show significantly boosted the island's popularity ⬆️⬆️⬆️.
To be honest, I’ve never watched the drama myself 🤣🤣,
but I’ve seen a photo of the male and female leads standing on a tree-lined path.
That iconic scene was filmed on Metasequoia Lane 🌲🌲🌲🌳🌳 inside the island.
I remember that over ten years ago, the island's most famous food was Garlic Cream Toast!!!
But this time, I didn’t see any promotion for it 🤣🤣.
Instead, there’s now grilled marshmallow ice cream!!
When you place an order, they grill it right in front of you 🔥🔥🔥.
Although it’s been popular for quite a while 🤣, this was my first time trying it!
It tasted better than I expected—the crispy grilled surface was really delicious 🤤.
Paired with vanilla ice cream 🍦👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, it’s worth a try.
However, the price seems to be more about the gimmick,
so I probably wouldn’t eat it a second time 😛. Once is enough 😜.
The island offers different natural landscapes to enjoy in every season!
While planning my trip, I saw photos taken during cherry blossom season, ginkgo season, and snow season! 💕
All of them look so dreamy and unique 🥹🤍🤍.
It’s truly a great place to visit all year round 🙂↕️.
